Specialty Course - Our Fish Identification
Speciality Course is designed to help you learn the names, traits and
habits of the most common species of fish found in our oceans. Indigineous
or imported, this course discusses the various types of fish life found
in cross current waters as well. Being able to identify by name the various
fish one encounters during a dive helps you to be able to properly log
and communicate your dive information to others. This is the first step
towards marine conservation and biology. One three hour lecture and three
open water dives with an instructor are needed to complete this certification.
Open water dives can be completed on any of our trips year round or locally
during the summer season (June - October). The cost of the course is $150.00.
